Facebook为美国阿肯色州所有高中提供VR教育

Hawei Net:   在与Facebook开展了头一类的合作后，美国阿肯色州政府于当地时间周一宣布，他们正在扩大这家科技巨头的Techstart计划，把虚拟现实教育纳入该州的每所公立高中。双方最初的合作于今年1月宣布，这是Facebook首次与州政府建立了这样的合作关系。Facebook向约250所阿肯色州高中捐赠了VR课件包，特别是针对来自低收入家庭，教育合作项目和STEM教育中心的学生。套件包括VR规格PC，摄像头和Oculus Rift头。

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette :   Petcash, a standout 6-foot-4 guard who graduated from Pine-Richland High School in June, has accepted a scholarship to Boston and will leave for the New England area school Wednesday. Boston plays in the Patriot League and has made the NCAA tournament and NIT in the past six seasons.

Xinhua:   The number of American K-12 students learning Mandarin has doubled to around 400,000 in two years, Morgan Jones, Chief Operating Officer, U.S.-China Strong Foundation, told Xinhua in a recent interview.The non-profit U.S. organization is leading a Chinese language education initiative called "1 Million Strong" which seeks to expand to 1 million the number of U.S. K-12 students learning Mandarin by 2020.
